Capture more anatomy in one shot
The Orthoscan TAU MVP 15, with its 15 cm x 15 cm detector, provides a larger imaging surface, enabling you to focus on the patient rather than the equipment. This expansive panel captures preferred views in fewer shots, streamlining your workflow and minimizing radiation exposure for both you and your patients.
A MINI C-ARM THAT WORKS FOR YOU
  • LED LIGHTS
Insufficient lighting during a case can make it challenging to see anatomy clearly. Unique to the Orthoscan TAU family, surgical LED lights provide additional illumination on the anatomy. Eliminate shadows cast from the C-arm and the OR so you can work with certainty.
  • BILATERAL CONTROLS
New backlit controls are easier to see with additional buttons for upgraded functionality.
  • C-ARM DESIGN
Focus on your case with an increased orbital rotation of 160°, larger arc depth of 20”, and improved umbilical cable. Effortlessly maneuver the C-arm to attain preferred views without stressing your patient's anatomy.
THREE MODES. ONE VISION.
Single-Handed Operation

With an ergonomic design the scope offers optimum functionality. Now physicians can rotate the scope and view all aspects of a joint using just one hand, without needing to reposition the scope.

A FREE HAND
Minimizes the need for a surgical tech or assistant when using the scope in the surgery center or office setting.

Allows physicians to manipulate or reposition the patient, or prepare medication for injection, without ever losing live visuals.

PLUG IN & GO
To perform your arthroscopy procedure, simply connect the scope to the front of your mobile device and ensure it's set to Arthroscopy mode. The setup is quick and easy, allowing you to begin your procedure with minimal effort.
FLUOROSCOPY
Fluoroscopy is a medical imaging technique that uses X-rays to provide continuous, realtime images of the body's internal structures, much like a live video. This allows healthcare professionals to observe the movement of body parts and monitor procedures as they happen, similar to watching a live X-ray movie.
ARTHROSCOPY
Arthroscopy allows doctors to see injuries inside joints such as the knee, hip, wrist, elbow, ankle, or shoulder with a level of detail and clarity that would not be achievable through external examination alone. This minimally invasive technique enables physicians to definitively assess internal damage and precisely visualize therapeutic interventions at the site of injury. By providing direct insight into joint structures during surgery, arthroscopy enhances clinical confidence, supports targeted treatment, and contributes to more efficient and effective orthopedic procedures.
DUAL IMAGE MODE
Dual Image Mode delivers seamless side-by-side viewing of fluoroscopy and arthroscopy images and video. This advanced feature allows healthcare providers to combine real-time X-ray visuals of moving internal structures with detailed joint insights, offering a comprehensive view of the patient’s condition supporting clinicians with better decision-making during procedures, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
INTELLIGENT DOSE REDUCTION
At Orthoscan, we understand your concerns about radiation exposure and the demand for high-quality images. That's why the TAU family includes cutting-edge Intelligent Dose Reduction that provides the best in diagnostic image quality while reducing exposure to you and your patients..
  • PULSED FLUOROSCOPY
  • OPTIMIZED DOSE FILTER
  • NEXT GENERATION FLAT PANEL TECHNOLOGY
  • REDUCE YOUR DOSE, NOT YOUR IMAGE QUALITY

Orthoscan TAU MVP 15 features pulsed fluoroscopy technology, previously available only on full size C-arms.

By imaging at 30 pulses per second, significantly reduce your dose rate compared to conventional continuous fluoroscopy — all without loss of image quality or detail.

Further reduce dose with selectable pulses per second of 15 and 7.5 pps, depending upon your imaging needs.

  • THE FIRST MINI C-ARM AVAILABLE WITH PEDIATRIC INDICATION

While Orthoscan TAU MVP 15 is a low dose device by design, it is also the first mini C-arm designed for pediatric use .

By engaging the Optimized Dose Filter, Orthoscan TAU MVP 15 can reduce dose significantly in children and adults.

  • NEXT GENERATION CMOS IMAGING FOR THE SURGICAL MARKET

Achieve increased DQE efficiency with the latest generation CMOS detector.

Free from a dependency on photon energy, these detectors produce low-noise images even in very low dose situations. Next generation detectors improve image brightness, decrease ramp time, and reduce dose.

Additionally, Mag Mode retains image quality without an increase in dose.

* Using Intelligent Dose Reduction (with Cu filter) when compared to Orthoscan 1000-0004. In continuous mode, users will not attain the stated levels of cumulative Dose reduction possible with that offered in pulsed fluoroscopy. In clinical practice, the use of IDR may reduce patient Dose depending on the clinical task, patient size, anatomical location, and clinical practice. A consultation with a radiologist and a physicist should be made to determine the appropriate Dose to obtain diagnostic image quality for the particular clinical task.
